There are some people who try to complete yoga in the morning as soon as possible. Here you need to know that this is not the right way to do any type of yoga poses. You have to devote a lot of time to do the yoga in the perfect way so as to get the best result and that too in a very short duration of time. Baby pose is one of the poses of yoga which is also known as child pose. This yoga is done by people who have got abdominal or pain in back muscles. If you do this pose then you would be able to stretch your muscles. If you feel that that it is very difficult or hard to do this type of yoga then you are very wrong. But you should be very careful when you try to perform baby pose.
Let us have a look at the different steps that are important to perform this yoga.
- Lie down on the floor with your face up. You should let loose your body when you lie down at this position.
- Now try to draw your legs in and then breathe out. You need to ensure that you keep your calves folded over your thighs. This should be done very slowly so that you do not hurt yourself.
- Next thing that you need to do is to reach out to your feet and then try to grasp them at the outside edges. If you find it quite difficult to reach your feet then the best thing that you can do is to go for using a yoga strap or a belt.
- Now try to part your knees in a wider position than your chest. Now you need to draw in your legs back very gently and try to move your knees to your upper arms.
- You should now continue to hold your feet for some time. Then the next thing to do is to try to bring your lower legs in the upward direction and you should try to make an alienation of the ankles are directly to your knees above.
- Now try to tip your toes downward and this can be done by flexing your feet. Now try to push down with your hands. You should ensure that you do not strain while pushing down your hands.
- The next thing you need to do is to push up with the help of your feet. You would feel that you have stretched both your arms as well as your thighs.
- Finally you need to let your legs return to the floor.
