Standing Balancing Poses

Mountain Pose


  • First you need to stand up straight keeping your feet together. You should also try to keep your arms at your sides when standing straight.
  • Now try to make your legs straight and then draw your legs to your heels. You need to draw your thighs in the upward direction and try to look back.
  • Now you need to tuck your tailbones and in this step you must make sure that you do not try to round your lower back.
  • Now try to release your shoulder and then make sure that you try to bring your shoulder to your back.
  • The next thing that you need to do is to elongate your neck. You should remain focus on your breathing and then try to hold in this position for one minute.
  • Now try to relax your body.

Chair Pose


  • The first thing that you need to do is to stand tall with your feet together and make sure that your big toes are touching.
  • Now the next thing to do is to inhale and then try to raise your arms and it should be raised above your head.
  • Next you need to exhale and then try to make your knees bend and then you need to tilt your head in the backward direction very slowly.
  • Try to remain in this position for one minute.
  • Now try to inhale and exhale very slowly.
